Nominations for the SAAL Committee

I thought I would drop you a quick note to let you know that planning for season 2024/25 is well underway.

Once again, we will be conducting a minimum of 14 carnivals and we are looking forward to providing some innovations with regard to race format and presentation. The committee will spend some time this weekend working further on our plans and shortly thereafter, together with the handicappers, conduct a handicapping and rules review.

A key activity over the next few weeks will be the conduct of the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING and the election of the committee for the 2024/25 season.

This note is to seek your support in either NOMINATING FOR A POSITION ON THE COMMITTEE or alternatively attending the AGM to cast your vote.

The committee only meets once a month for 2-3 hours and, aside from any volunteering you may elect to do, this would be your commitment.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for athletics who are prepared to take counter views and work as a team. If you have particular skills in finance, communication or marketing that would be great.
